Refund Policy

1. Overview

At CertNotify, we want you to be completely satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy explains our terms for refunds on paid plans (Pro, Business, Enterprise). If you have any questions, please contact us at support@certnotify.com before or after making a purchase.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All paid plans include a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with CertNotify for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase.

To request a refund within this period, email us at support@certnotify.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your account email address. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days via the original payment method.

3. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. When you cancel a monthly subscription:

  • Your access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period after the 14-day guarantee period
  • Your account will revert to the Free plan at the end of the billing period

4. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions provide a discounted rate in exchange for the full-year commitment. For annual subscriptions:

  • The 14-day money-back guarantee applies from the date of purchase
  • After 14 days, cancellations are effective at the end of the annual term — no pro-rata refunds for remaining months
  • In exceptional circumstances (e.g. significant service outages exceeding 24 hours in a single month), pro-rata credits may be issued at our discretion

5. Enterprise Plans

Enterprise plans are subject to individual contract terms agreed upon at the time of purchase. Please refer to your enterprise agreement or contact support@certnotify.com for specific refund terms.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Add-on features or one-time purchases once used or activated
  • Subscriptions that have already been refunded previously under the money-back guarantee
  • Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service

7. Service Credits

In the event of extended service unavailability (exceeding our 99.5% uptime commitment), affected customers may be eligible for service credits applied to their next billing cycle. Credits are calculated on a pro-rata basis for the downtime period and do not constitute cash refunds. Uptime is tracked on our system status page.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@certnotify.com
  2. Use the subject line: Refund Request — [your account email]
  3. Include a brief reason (optional but helpful)
  4. We will confirm receipt within 1 business day and process within 5–10 business days

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Subscriptions existing at the time of any policy change will continue to be governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
